Ikea en Directo is a live TV commerce section inside the Ikea's Movistar + Living App. This space combines entertainment and shopping to provide a unique and interactive experience for users, where they can watch all the live and past events, interact through chat and buy the products that are being shown in real time.

Collaborated in this project as part of Telefonica's internship program "Becas Talentum" along with the Digital Home Service Platform team.

Defined and monitored key metrics using Azure and Power BI dashboards to analyze user behavior, generate UX hypotheses, and measure project evolution.

Directly contributed to analysis and exploration phases for the "Ikea en Directo" interface design, employing continuous UX research, benchmarking, and ideation to drive innovation and enhance user experience.

Problem Statement

The constant evolution of ecommerce has opened new opportunities to increase engagement with clients and give them new ways to discover and buy things in real time.

Solution

An innovative ecommerce space within the Ikea Living App that seamlessly integrates entertainment and shopping, offering users a distinctive and immersive experience of "lives" but on the big screen. Unlike other devices, the TV allows users to enjoy live events, discover trends, and buy new furniture with the presence of others house members.

Result

Increase the engagement rate within the Ikea Living App, while offering new ways of interactions. With Ikea en Directo, users can now watch Ikea's live events on their TV, communicate through the chat , and purchase showcased products in real-time or later.
